Welcome to Tutoreasy.hk (hereinafter referred to as "Tutor Easy," "the Site," or "the Service"). By accessing or using any part of this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("TOS"). We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice. Revised terms become effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated TOS.

Description of Service & Non-Intermediation

The Site provides an online information platform for tutor-student matching. You acknowledge and agree that the Site operates as a pure information medium and does not act as an agent or intermediary. All content (including but not limited to tutor credentials, identity documents, and student requirements) is uploaded directly by users. the Site DOES NOT pre-screen, verify, or conduct any fact-checking on the accuracy, legitimacy, or authenticity of such information. The Service is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. the Site assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, misdelivery, or failure to store any user communications or personalization settings.

Special Warning: Fraud Risks & User Verification

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE: Since the Site does not verify user data, you must assume all risks associated with contacting and transacting with other users. the Site does not guarantee the identity of any user. The verification of a tutor's academic qualifications, identity documents, or criminal records (such as the Sexual Conviction Record Check) is the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of the parents/students. You must exercise extreme caution before meeting offline, providing sensitive personal data, or engaging in monetary transactions (e.g., prepaying tuition). the Site shall not be held liable for any losses caused by fraudulent users, identity theft, or illegal activities.

Your Registration Obligations

To use the Service, you agree to: Provide true, accurate, current, and complete information as prompted by the registration form; Maintain and promptly update your registration data to keep it true, accurate, current, and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, or misleading, the Site has the right to suspend or terminate your account.

Member Account, Password, and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to: Immediately notify the Site of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security; Ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session.

Member Conduct & Content Responsibility

You understand that all information, data, text, photographs, or other materials ("Content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. You are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload or transmit via the Service. the Site does not control the Content posted and does not guarantee its accuracy, integrity, or quality.
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
Upload or transmit Content that is illegal, fraudulent, harmful, threatening, invasive of another's privacy, or contains false information;
Impersonate any person or entity, including the Site officials;
Stalk or harass others;
Collect or store personal data about other users for illegal purposes.

Disclaimer of Warranties

You expressly understand and agree that:
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided "as-is."
the Site makes no warranty that: (i) the Service will meet your requirements; (ii) the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (iii) the results obtained from the Service (including user-provided data) will be accurate or reliable.

Limitation of Liability

You expressly agree that the Site shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from: The use or inability to use the Service; Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; Statements or conduct of any third party on the Service (including fraudulent acts by users).

General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These TOS constitute the entire agreement between you and the Site.

Governing Law: These TOS and the relationship between you and the Site shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

Statute of Limitations: You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to the use of the Service or the TOS must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.
